A team of IT specialists was contracted to develop a Web-based application containing ten learning modules for new-student orientation. This graphics-driven site was designed for ease of orientation. The interactive site was designed and implemented with ten test modules containing five questions each that allowed up to four possible answers for each question. The application records the results for each student and stores this information in a relational database repository for all students who have taken the orientation exam. This process provides the University of New Mexico key information to improve the student orientation process.
