RESPEC PROJECT

RESPEC performed assessments related to site suitability and permitting feasibility in addition to permitting and engineering for the development of an organic fertilizer granulation process facility able to process up to 400 tons/day of raw material, including cage layer poultry manure and select organic waste for the proposed 25.6-acre commercial site. The primary fuel for the two (2) methane gas burner-fired dryers (one fluidized bed and one rotary) for the drying lines will be landfill gas.

  • Type and location of existing electric service
  • Sanitary sewer service
  • Availability of potable water
  • Engineering and planning for use of nearby landfill gas
  • Availability of cable and telephone communication lines
  • DOT permitting with respect to State Route highway crossing
  • E&S Control plan in conjunction with municipal approvals
  • Building permits and the need for approval to store flammable and combustible liquids with an aggregate capacity great than 2,000 gal.
